HOMESTEAD - Exhibit your paintings at the modern restaurant in the heart of London City Island!

History shows us that there were lots of famous artists showcasing their works in restaurants, like Jackson Pollock’s Blue Poles and Picasso’s Le Tricorne displayed at the Four Seasons restaurant in the Seagram Building in New York. Pairing art with restaurants remains very popular to this day and we are seeing many restaurants blending visual and culinary arts like Damien Hirst Cock ‘n’ Bull on display at Tramshed in Shoreditch.  

Therefore, Trinity Art Gallery and Homestead collaborates to bring visual art into the modern restaurant at London City Island. Have a look at the requirements below and see how to apply for showcasing your works with us at Homestead. Essentially, we are creating a wonderful space full of integrity and passion - working with our supplier partners to bring natural, fresh produce from British suppliers - wine, beers, meat, fish. 

We would like the artwork to convey the depth and passion here - natural colours, tones and texture to warm and brighten the space and make the space feel homely and inclusive - its a true community vibe so London- based artists preferred.

What we are looking for? 

• 4 abstract paintings with use of shapes, colours, forms and gestural marks

• Preferable sizes:  

Wall 1: HEIGH max 160cm/min 60cm   WIDTH max 135cm/min 55cm 
Wall 2: HEIGH max 160cm/min 60cm   WIDTH max 140cm/min 55cm 
Wall 3: HEIGH max 140cm/min 60cm   WIDTH max 120cm/min 60cm 
Wall 4: HEIGH max 140cm/min 60cm   WIDTH max 130cm/min 60cm

* 3 course meal with a bottle of wine for two at Homestead, date to be discussed with Homestead 
** All sales to be administered via Trinity Art Gallery, fixed prices to be agreed prior to instal. Marketing materials like labels, price list and flyers with more information about the artists and paintings will be available at the restaurant reception for general public
