VISUAL ART OPEN PRIZE 2021 - Artist Call - £8,000 Prize Fund

All UK & International artists are invited to apply for the Visual Art Open Prize 2021. Presented by the Visual Artists Association, the prestigious VAO 2021 Prize is now celebrating its fifth edition and offers an £8,000 Prize Fund.

All mediums across 5 categories:  Painting/Mixed Media/Printmaking - Illustration/Drawing - Sculpture – Photography/Digital - Young Artist (16 – 24 years old).

Entry cost - £20 for 1st submission and £10 per additional artwork £15.00 for entrants under 24 years and £10 per additional artwork.

Renown Judging Panel, the prize is open to both amateur and professional artists of all levels.  

£8,000 prize fund - Overall winner of the VAO will be awarded: Cash prize to support the production of new works, Commercial mentoring package, Exhibition at Deepbridge Chester Art Fair, International Online Global Art Exhibition of Finalists, Free Career Development Talks and 20% Discount with Cass Art. £250.00 will be awarded for each winning category, finalists will be exhibited at Deepbridge Chester Arts Fair.

ALL SUBMISSIONS promoted on social media and email coverage to 50,000, plus an invitation to the annual show.
