In the last hundred years, humankind has seen unprecedented innovations and changes- from skyscrapers to moon landing to social media to human rights to Art...

In this very moment in our society everything moves really fast, time doesn’t seem sufficient anymore, artists seem to find their path much harder, the ongoing changes create a need for a continuous state of Transcendence. 

The aim of this publication is to find out what’s the trend in contemporary art and to create a dialogue between the artists and the viewers. 

There are no subject or medium restrictions, everyone is welcomed to apply. 

Submission Guidelines- Please read carefully.

To apply for “THE NEW ARTIST” simply email us, one image with you and your artworks or with you in your studio, 3 images of your work (3 different works) Title_ Size_ Medium_ Price and a short bio, no more than 200 words, your Instagram username, your home address (so we can send you a printed copy) at boomergallery@gmail.com.

For the cover we have chosen Pablo Picasso as he will always represent the new and he has inspired artists for generations to create “NEW”

Please make sure you submit high quality images.

To make a submission is absolutely free but we do charge a £79 fee for each accepted submission.

We will also have a printed edition available in our gallery. 

The printed edition will be on display for 3 months in our gallery in Central London. 

Important dates: 

the open call will run until 15 March. 

the publication will be made on 22 March and it will be up for 3 months. 

On top of the printed copy that will be posted to your address, each participant will get the links to all the platforms where the magazine will be available.

As we run multiple open calls, please make sure you include in the email line the open call you apply for.
