Open Call for Artists, See You In The Dark

Upcoming short film production See You In The Dark is seeking existing artwork to be featured in the film at a contemporary exhibition space in East London. The filming will take place in London on 16th April 2022. 

On the opening night of a group exhibition, Nora, a young female artist, is hacked by an ominous troll. What follows is a descent into sexual trauma, as she and her friend Kyra search for the perpetrator in a night-long odyssey. 

What we are looking for: 

This opportunity is open to visual artists and makers who specialise in photography, painting, digital media, sculpture/installation, mixed media, crafts, and drawing. We seek artwork that critically engages with radical, feminist art practices and techniques. We welcome applicants from diverse artistic backgrounds. 

Eligibility: 

We will be prioritising BIPOC, Queer and Female identifying artists. Must be based in London and can come in for installation before shoot day. 

What you will get: 

Artists will get their artwork featured in the film and be part of the collaborative and creative process. See You In The Dark is a small production; therefore, this is an unpaid opportunity. Artists will have their expenses covered, including travel, food and transportation of artwork for installs.
