SYNTHESIZED EMPATHY

"Can code feel, or can it only simulate the aesthetics of pain and pleasure?" This exhibition explores the increasingly blurred boundary between simulated emotions and genuine biological emotional responses. It doesn't offer answers, but rather uses the question itself as the exhibition space—inviting viewers to confront an unavoidable moral dilemma: is empathy for machines a moral evolution, or a postmodern illusion?

Synthesized Empathy brings together works from multiple artists, presenting the boundaries of artificial intelligence systems in the emotional dimension through installation, generative art, interactive media, video, and sound. The exhibition doesn't attempt to answer whether machines truly "feel," but rather uses this uncertainty itself as a field of tension between aesthetics and ethics.No restrictions on the form of the work.
