The Untitled Space invites artists to apply for a Solo Exhibition to take place at the gallery in Tribeca, New York, Fall/Winter 2026. 
The selected artist will be awarded a solo exhibition that will be presented as an in-person solo show at the gallery on Lispenard Street located in the heart of the Tribeca Arts District of New York City. 

The solo exhibition will be supported by an online exclusive of the exhibition on Artsy, along with extensive coverage of the exhibition on a variety of media outlets including The Untitled Magazine, Art Forum, Art Week, and Artsy, among many other publications. The exhibition will be promoted online on the gallery's websites, social media channels, and on a variety of publishing platforms. Have your artwork seen by countless collectors, press, art advisors, and art lovers around the world. The opportunity includes an Artsy Exclusive Online Solo Show for the runner-up. 

All applicants will also be considered for future opportunities at The Untitled Space, including group shows and special projects.

The Untitled Space is looking for an artist with a strong body of work for this unique opportunity. 

Submissions are open to all artists, both national and international, across all ages, genders, and visual mediums. No education or past exhibition requirements. 

The Untitled Space will coordinate directly with the awarded artists to finalize the exhibition schedule and select the final works for the show.

Exhibition space: Approximately 1,400 sq. ft. with over 110 feet of linear wall space, plus pedestals, projectors, and 4K monitors for digital display.

 


ABOUT THE UNTITLED SPACE

The Untitled Space is a contemporary art gallery situated in the heart of the Tribeca Arts District, in a historic building on Lispenard Street. Founded in 2015 by Indira Cesarine, the gallery is dedicated to presenting boundary-pushing, innovative exhibitions. The gallery features both emerging and established artists who explore conceptual frameworks and cutting-edge ideologies through a variety of media, including painting, sculpture, printmaking, photography, video, and performance art. With a commitment to supporting women in art, and amplifying marginalized voices, The Untitled Space celebrates diversity and inclusion in the art world. As the gallery celebrates its 10th anniversary, it continues to elevate artists and ignite conversations that inspire.

Since its opening, The Untitled Space has presented over 50 exhibitions, featuring more than 500 artists. Notable solo shows have included Sarah Maple, Rebecca Leveille, Alison Jackson, Fahren Feingold, Jessica Lichtenstein, Philip A. Robinson Jr., Tabitha Whitley, Tom Smith, Loren Erdrich, Kat Toronto (aka Miss Meatface), Katie Commodore, Giulia Grillo (aka Petite Doll), Jeanette Hayes, Grace Graupe-Pillard, and Robin Tewes.

The gallery has also presented celebrated group exhibitions such as "UPRISE 2025", "REBEL", "INNOVATE", "UNRAVELED: Confronting The Fabric of Fiber Art", "BODY BEAUTIFUL", and "IRL: Investigating Reality". Other major exhibitions include “SECRET GARDEN,” “SHE INSPIRES,” and public art projects including "FUTURE VISION" and “Art4Equality x Life, Liberty & The Pursuit of Happiness,” in collaboration with SaveArtSpace. Additionally, the gallery has presented special projects at SPRING/BREAK Art Show, including “EDEN” and “(HOTEL) XX”, as well as internationally recognized shows “UPRISE/ANGRY WOMEN” and “ONE YEAR OF RESISTANCE.”
