The Untitled Space invites artists to apply for a Solo Exhibition to take place at the gallery in Tribeca, New York in 2021. 

The exhibition will be presented as an in-person solo show, and will additionally include an online viewing room of the exhibition on our website, online exclusive of the exhibition on Artsy, as well as special coverage of the exhibition on a variety of media outlets including The Untitled Magazine among others. The exhibition will additionally include an exhibit catalog which will be cross-promoted online on a variety of publishing platforms, as well as coverage on our social media channels. 

The Untitled Space is looking for an artist with an exceptional body of work that has not been previously exhibited for this unique opportunity. The exhibit will be curated by gallery director Indira Cesarine who will work directly with the artist to produce the exhibition as well as promote it via print and online media. Artists who submit may also be considered for future opportunities with The Untitled Space gallery such as art fairs, group shows, online solo shows, and exclusives. 

Artists should have an established exhibition track record and/or educational focus in studio art. The exhibit proposal should include new work which will premiere with the exhibition. All ages, genders, and mediums will be considered. The recipient of the solo exhibition will additionally be represented by The Untitled Space gallery for a minimum of 6 months in support of the exhibition.

ABOUT THE UNTITLED SPACE

The Untitled Space is an art gallery located in Tribeca, New York in a landmark building on Lispenard Street. Founded in 2015, the gallery features exhibits of emerging and established contemporary artists exploring conceptual framework and boundary-pushing ideology through mediums of painting, sculpture, printmaking, photography, video, and performance art. The gallery is committing to exploring new ideas vis-à-vis traditional and new mediums and highlights a program of women in art as well as special events aligned with our creative vision.

ABOUT CURATOR INDIRA CESARINE

Indira Cesarine’s curatorial for The Untitled Space gallery includes includes solo shows for artists Sarah Maple, Fahren Feingold, Jessica Lichtenstein, Rebecca Leveille, Alison Jackson, Kat Toronto aka Miss Meatface, Katie Commodore, Jeanette Hayes, Tom Smith, Loren Erdrich, Grace Graupe-Pillard and Robin Tewes, as well as group shows "BODY BEAUTIFUL", “IRL: Investigating Reality”, "EDEN" and "(HOTEL) XX" at SPRING/BREAK Art Show; ”SECRET GARDEN”, “SHE INSPIRES,” and internationally-celebrated group shows “UPRISE/ANGRY WOMEN” and “ONE YEAR OF RESISTANCE” responding to the political climate in America, as well as numerous other critically-acclaimed exhibitions.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
• An application is required for all artists to be considered. No exceptions. 
• We do not accept walk-ins or any unsolicited artwork emailed or shipped by mail.
• Artists should have a strong exhibition track record and/or educational focus in studio art.
• Works can be figurative or abstract and of any medium. 
• Artists must submit a minimum of 5 digital images of artwork (jpeg format) for consideration. This may also include renderings of proposed works to be created for the exhibition, although the majority of works should be existing, completed works. Works submitted must be available for exhibition and for sale.
