ART AFFICHE *think playbill

 This is the second year of the ART AFFICHE

The  ART AFFICHE (similar to a Playbill) for THE BANNED BOOK PROJECT (www.themannixproject.com) which will take place at three separate libraries in the Hamptons, NY, with 1000 catalogs to be produced.  This is a fantastic opportunity to promote yourself as an artist, gallery, or art business and share your information with an art-loving audience with a full-color, full-page showcase.

I am inviting artists to  SPONSOR the upcoming multi-location group exhibition which, I am organizing, THE BANNED BOOK PROJECT. 

This exhibition will be installed in the East Hampton, Springs, and Montauk Libraries throughout October 2025, which is recognized as Banned Book Month. Each library features an art gallery within its premises.

Three libraries (maybe more) will have these AFFICHEs available for visitors, and 150 copies will also be distributed at the ART ON PAPER ART FAIR in New York City in early September. *these will be included in gift bags

Additionally, I have scheduled a Banned Books live discussion with a studio audience on October 26, at 4 p.m., at LTV Studios in Wainscott.  This will be an additional episode to ‘The Mannix Show: shooting the sh*t with cultural folk’, which debuted at LTV in Summer 2024.

There will be an event every weekend throughout the month of October, including an opening reception at the Springs Library in conjunction with the Burt Glinn Photo Exhibition on Friday, October 10th.
