Awakenings & Beginnings International Dance Festival®

Rubans Rouges Dance® our parent company sponsors "Awakenings & Beginnings International Dance Festival®" that functions as a mainstream and indie dance festival, hosted traditionally in Los Angeles annually at Diavolo Space for the performance in Lincoln Heights near L.A.'s downtown area. We are asking for choreographers to submit their best work in any dance form but primarily contemporary, ballet, modern, dance theatre, performance art theatre, cultural pieces. We are willing to accept and/or consider other works. in other dance disciplines. We accept artists at all levels as long as they are professionals: Emerging; Mid Career; Seasoned & Established. A new portion of our festival also invites amateurs and inspiring artists for performance opportunities in an informal environment for our "Anyone Can Dance Program". We also have a summer edition of the same festival that we often tour in the world. One year we hosted it in Vegas, in 2018 we hsoetd it at the Joan Weill Center for Dance Arts, Ailey's Citigroup Theater in Manhattan, New York. We are open to pre-screen potential applicants for the summer edition as well. Other elements of our "Awakenings & Beginnings International Dance Festival®": Choreographers Dinner; Red Ribbons® VIP Red Carpet Event & Gala; Happenings & Events; informal & Formal Performances; fun on location photo shoot free to participants; and lots more. All performance dates are TBA at this time. If you are chosen for our festival you need to be flexible and keep an open date range between now and June 30, 2020.
