The Red Wall Project

A new exterior public exhibition space, The Portland Red Wall Project, is looking for visual artists to create site specific banners.  Located at 2106 NE Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, in Portland, Oregon.  This south facing wall is seen by thousands of vehicles a day. Exhibitions will change monthly highlighting the work of local artists.  

The Red Wall is a 10’ x 14’ red brick wall, a gateway to NE Portland. Artists are invited to submit proposals for banners with themes of equity, community, and diversity. In your proposal please address the dimensions and material of your proposed banner. 

 All complete submissions will be reviewed.  Artists will be notified by November 17, 2020. Selected artists will be expected to provide a weather resistant banner with a minimum of 4 corner grommets, one week before their exhibition date.
