Call for Art: Small Wonders

Some of the most exquisite beauty can be captured in the smallest of images and objects: the iridescence of a hummingbird in flight, a millefiori paperweight, Faberge eggs, or a miniature woven basket. These pieces are modest in size but powerful in creativity and expression.

Healdsburg Center for the Arts (HCA) invites artists to submit paintings, original fine art prints, collage, mixed media, drawings, fiber arts, sculptures, ceramics, and jewelry for this exhibition.

Application Requirements:

- Platform: All applications must be submitted via EntryThingy .

- Eligibility: Work must be original and completed within the past two years. Photos in the application must represent the actual work intended for exhibition.

- Size/Weight: Artwork must not exceed 12" x 12" unframed (144 sq in) or 196 sq in framed. Maximum weight is 40 lbs.

- Display: 2-D pieces must be securely wired (no alligator clips). 3-D work must be stable; artists are responsible for on-site assembly if required.

- Sales: All work must be for sale. HCA retains a 40% commission; artists receive 60%. Please list retail prices only.

Key Dates:

- Entry Deadline: May 10, 2026 (9 PM)

- Notification of Selection: By May 13, 2026

- Shipped Work Deadline: Wednesday, May 27, 2026 (must include pre-paid return label)

- Hand-Delivery: Sunday, May 31 (12–4 PM) and Monday, June 1 (11 AM–1 PM)

- Exhibition Dates: June 4, 2026 – July 19, 2026

- Opening Reception: Saturday, June 6, 2026 (4–6 PM)

- Pick-up/Return Shipping: July 19 (12–4 PM) and July 20 (11 AM–1 PM); shipping the week of July 20.

Entry Fees:

- Non-Members: $50 (1 entry), $55 (2 entries), $60 (3 entries). Includes a $60 yearly supporter membership.

- Current Members: $40 (1 entry), $45 (2 entries), $50 (3 entries).
