Open Call: Solo Exhibition at A Space Gallery

A Space gallery (Brooklyn, NY) is excited to announce that our 2025 Open Call for Artist Solo Exhibition is now officially open for public submissions. The solo exhibitions will be held throughout the year starting in January 2025, with selected artists scheduled for suitable months after the screening process.

We will prioritize underrepresented artists, works that uniquely activate the space, and works that are not viable in traditional commercial markets. We encourage artists from all educational backgrounds to apply, and we are excited to see work from artists based across the United States and internationally. The artist chosen for the solo exhibition will work closely with a team of curators at A Space Gallery to prepare for their show.

Submission Instruction

• Select 5 images you will submit. Images of accepted work may be used on A Space Gallery web site, social media, and promotional materials for publicity.
• Label each image with: Full name, Title of work, Medium, Size and Year. Separate with a dash. Example: First name_Last name_Title_Medium_Size_Year. 
• Images must be submitted in JPG /JPEG format
• If there is video work, include a still image of the video and the video clip of 2 minutes maximum

Exhibition and Delivery Requirements

• Work must arrive by the exhibition installation date and must be installed by the artist. A Space Gallery stuff will assist artist.
• A label must be attached to the back/bottom of each work with name, title, medium and price.
• Work must be presented in a manner appropriate to the artwork and be equipped for presentation.
• If work is shipped, use only UPS or FedEX and include a prepaid return shipping label with your package.
• No work which was not originally selected by or discussed with A Space Gallery will be displayed.
