Abstract Realm

Abstract art is widely regarded as a tribute to the process of painting itself. Originating with trailblazers like Hilma af Klint and Vassily Kandinsky, and later refined by American artists, this genre is characterized by its fearless use of color and rejection of conventional artistic norms. Abstract art breaks free from the constraints of traditional forms, putting emphasis on color symbolism, rhythmic forms, and a departure from representational subjects. This artistic freedom allows for unrestricted expression and the demonstration of artistic prowess. In the realm of the viewer, abstract art aims to elicit emotional responses and provoke reactions, so we can come to the conclusion that abstract art is ultimately very flexible in its most basic form. In our upcoming June online group art show, we pay homage to the boundless creativity and expressive potential of abstract art.
