Botanica Grove Gallery invites artists of all disciplines to submit work for SYNESTHESIA, where senses cross with an artwork. Synesthesia, both a neurological phenomenon and a poetic metaphor, offers a powerful framework for contemporary expression. The artwork may invoke transelemental  or transmedia work. Where sound becomes color, texture becomes memory, and vision becomes feeling.

We are seeking work that explores:

   •    Cross-sensory perception: intersections of touch, movement, and emotion

   •    Intersections of elements and foundations of art— color, form, texture, line, ect

   •    Environmental or sensory perception

   •    A density of perception and experience
