Eligibility:

International Body of Art is excited to open submissions to our upcoming exhibition. We ask artists to consider: how do you engage with the relationship between power and knowledge? Our exhibition hopes to provide a critical lens into our everyday consumption and distribution of knowledge, information, and bias. We welcome all mediums and encourage creative interpretations of the theme. Housed in a central London gallery space, the exhibition will provide the artists with a wide audience and space to show and sell their work.
Our exhibitions aim to disrupt, and challenge the typical white cube. For this reason, there will be an immersive element throughout via contemporary performance art.
Eligibility:
In recognition of the inequities of the art world, and, in accordance with the company values, this project intends to prioritize the voices of artists from under-represented backgrounds.
Artists do not need be London based, but must be capable of exhibiting in London.
There is no fee for submission. However, as this is not a grant-funded exhibition, selected artists share the cost of presenting the show with a participation fee of £50 (regardless of the number of artworks they will showcase). To keep with our ethos of inclusivity, if providing the fee is impossible but you would like to be considered, please let us know in
your application.
Benefits:
- Opportunity to show work in a central London gallery.
- Inclusion in marketing strategies if desired.
- Opportunity to present work for sale to a wide audience.
