The Hiiibrand International Brand & Communication Design Awards is an international design award focused on brand shaping and design value.

This award aims to promote the communication and development of brand and communication design fields by globally collecting and selecting excellent brand practices and design strength. The Hiiibrand Awards are divided into Brand Awards and Design Awards. The Brand Awards commend companies and organizations that have achieved outstanding achievements in brand strategy, positioning, communication, visual image, etc., and the Design Awards commend individuals and teams that have realized design innovation and excellent performance in the field of communication design.

As an international, professional, and forward-looking design award that has been going on for more than a decade, the Hiiibrand Awards represent industry authority and standards, and are a symbol of high-quality brands and design practices.

 

1. Assessment Criteria

*Brand Award

A. Brand Strategy

/ Evaluation of the depth, breadth, and implementation of brand strategy

Selection Criteria: Market analysis, target positioning, brand reputation, etc.

Score: 100

B. Brand Image

/ Assessment of the harmony, aesthetics and creativity of the brand visual image

Selection Criteria: Overall visual image, graphic design, display effect, and related materials, etc.

Score: 100

C. Brand Innovation and Practice

/ Assessment of the degree of innovation in areas such as communication, product, service, marketing, and the specific effects of successful brand practice cases

Selection Criteria: Brand goal achievement, market response, conversion rate, growth effect, etc.

Score: 100

 

*Design Award

A. Design Creativity

/ Assessment of the uniqueness and aesthetics of the design work

Selection Criteria: Creativity, expressiveness, attractiveness, user experience, etc.

Score: 100

B. Design Combined with Brand

/ Assessment of the contribution of the design work to the brand image, brand reputation, user cognition, brand impression, etc.

Selection Criteria: Coordination between brand image and design, the

effectiveness of brand information communication, etc.

Score: 100

C. Design Influence

/ Assessment of the influence and driving role of the design work

Selection Criteria: Impact on the industry, driving force, and other comprehensive

factors.

Score: 100

 

2.Qualifications

Brand Award

a. All entries shortlisted for the professional group of this Design Award are eligible to participate in the evaluation.

b. The brand can apply for the award only after the shortlist for the professional group of this Design Award has been announced, and the brand side needs to provide additional materials for evaluation.

 

Design Award

A. Professional

a. Projects created or published between January 2021 and February 2024, regardless of country and number.

b. The candidates can be brand consulting or design agencies, design firms/teams, branding studios, marketing departments, freelancers, etc., or corporate/brand manufacturers who own the rights to attribute their works.

c. Entries in the professional level must be commissioned by the client and have already been applied in the market. We will not accept any bidding works, scam ads or experimental works. Concept work and/or work that have not been implemented is not eligible.

B. Student

a. Projects created or published between January 2021 and February 2024, regardless of country and number.

b. Entries must be designed by graduate students, undergraduate students, college and university students, or by the above-mentioned students while they are still in school.

c. Entries in the student level can be either designs that have been applied in the market or practice project that have not been implemented.

4. Levels and categories

Hiiibrand Awards 2022 has two levels, Professional and Student, each is set up with four categories - Branding, Logo, Packaging and Typography.

 

5. Key dates

Early Bird: December 31, 2023 / Regular: January 31, 2024

 

6. Awards

Design Awards: Gold, Silver, Bronze, Merit for each level

Brand Awards: 3 Best Brand and 10 Excellent Brand

Organization Awards: 10 Best Delegation and 20 Best Tutor

Please send the entries files to us

a. Please download and fill in the Entry Form.

b. The image files and video files.

02.Waiting

The committee will reply to the email once it has been sent to assist in completing the submission and payment.

Normally it takes 5-7 working days.

Electronic certificates are available free of charge.

03. Hiiibrand Awards - Kaleidoscope Trophys

A trophy will be awarded to all Bronze Award winners and above.

※ International courier will be charged at your own expense.

04. Online Exhibition

Presentation of the award-winning product on the Hiiibrand website with images and text as well as a video clip.

※ You can post the promotion image(s) and the winning news on your social media and interact with @Hiiibrand official account. Channels: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Behance, etc
