The LIT Music Awards is an international music competition celebrating and honoring exceptional musical talent from around the world. From music, music video, dance, songwriting, influencers to instrumental performances, the LIT Music Awards is where musical excellence takes center stage in the entertainment industry, celebrating the pulsating heart of the global music scene.

The LIT Music Awards categories cover the best in music, including soul-stirring compositions and visually captivating music videos. Whether you're an artist, musician, songwriter, composer, instrumentalist, or a music video creator, the LIT categories provide a platform for your talents to shine.
Eligibility:
The LIT Music Awards is open to all emerging and established artists, musicians, songwriters, composers, instrumentalists, music video creators, audio recording professionals, agencies, production houses, entertainment companies, and publishers. Any person, group, or organization may turn in their submissions online. To be eligible, an entry must have been produced after January 1, 2022. Entries may originate from any country.
Submission Requirement:
You can submit your entries by uploading your video link from YouTube, Spotify, SoundCloud, Vimeo, or any other online mediums, that will take judges directly to the work.
If there are any supporting images / PDFs / documents, it should be saved under 4MB before uploading.
*It is recommended that you keep your synopsis to approximately 350 words. The project description should strengthen your entry, as well as provide the jury with a better understanding of your submission. A written translation or adaptation must accompany non-English entries.
Winning Level:
There are FIVE (5) levels of achievement in the competition:
LIT of the Year
Category Winner of the Year
Platinum Winner (85-100 points)
Gold Winner (70-84 points)
Silver Winner (50 - 69 points)
Judging:
Judging is blind. All entrant information is removed from entries to prevent bias/conflict of interest.
Entries are judged at random without comparison to other entries in the same categories. Each category will be meticulously adjudicated by different acclaimed professionals of various backgrounds and expertise, based on the following criteria:
Evaluation Criteria:
Judges score on a scale of 1-100, based on the below criteria:
Innovation and Originality: Rewarding unique, groundbreaking, and genre-defying musical elements.
Content: Rating the creativity, depth, and originality of the content, encompassing lyrics, themes, and messages, and their integration with the music.
Artistic Mastery / Skill / Technique: Evaluate the technical skill and creativity in the work's musical composition, the emotiveness and technical control in vocal performance, and the precision and expression in instrumental play. It captures the overall proficiency and artistry displayed in the piece.
Musical Composition: Evaluating the complexity, originality, and technical proficiency in the music's melody, harmony, rhythm, and structure.
Vocal Performance: Judging the quality, expression, range, and technical ability of the vocal delivery, including dynamics and phrasing.
Instrumental Proficiency: Assessing the skillfulness and expressiveness of the instrumental performances within the piece.
Quality: Evaluating the clarity, balance, and professional finish of the production, encompassing both audio and visual elements if applicable.
Impression / Wow! Factor: Reflecting on the immediate emotional impact, memorability, and the ability of the performance to captivate and engage the audience.
Audience Impact and Relevance: Considering the cultural impact, popularity, and contemporary relevance of the music.
Artistic Cohesiveness: Assessing how well the music, lyrics, and performance come together to form a unified artistic statement.
Overall Performance: This criterion encompasses the execution of the piece as a whole, including the synergy between musical and visual elements, the arrangement, the dynamics of the performance, and the artists' ability to convey the intended mood and message of the piece. It reflects how all elements come together to create a compelling and engaging experience for the listener.
The LIT Music Awards and International Awards Associate Inc's decision and ranking is final in its sole discretion and binding relation to all matters relating to competitions and may not be subject to any discussions or correspondence.
Results Announcement:
All winners for 2025 will be announced on May 16, 2025 via LIT Music Awards official page. All registered participants can then login to see the winning works.

The LIT of the Year will receive a LIT Music Awards Statuette to be displayed at your establishment as a quality of excellence.
LIT of the Year – Winner’s Banner to be featured on category page and link to website for 30 days for maximum exposure.
Winner Interview – All winners will get a chance for an interview to recognize the winning team that contributed to the project.
Marketing Tools – A professionally-designed icon, badge, site bug, press release templates, and email signature to celebrate your win.
Winners of all winning levels will be featured on the LIT Music Awards Winners Section.
The LIT of the Year, Platinum and Gold Winners will be featured by Vega on social media or on Muse.World, our media partner site to maximize exposure.
A complimentary professionally-designed certificate to commemorate winning entry submissions that includes entry title, entrant company and/or winner’s name, and award category. A decal will be customized to indicate the winning level.
An e-Certificate to commemorate your win, can be downloaded. Details such as Entry Title, Entrant Company and Categories will be displayed on the e-Certificate.
Platinum, Gold, and Silver winners will be given the choice to purchase limited-edition statuettes and/or additional award certificates while stocks last.
A press release template will be available for all winning levels to download and modified to be sent to major industry outlets for marketing and promotions, celebrating your win.
