The 14th Annual PleinAir Salon is an online art competition with 12 monthly cycles, and is open to a variety of mediums and styles. It’s not just for plein air painters! We invite a variety of top master artists, museum directors and gallery owners to judge each month. All monthly winners are automatically included in the Annual Competition where the Grand Prize winner receives $15,000 and has their painting featured on the cover of PleinAir Magazine, the #1 representational art magazine at Barnes & Noble.

In addition to a total of $50,000 in ALL Cash Prizes, winners receive exposure and recognition through our various magazines, websites, newsletters and social media platforms.

Prizes Details:

$15,000 Grand Prize with your painting featured on the cover of PleinAir Magazine

$7,500 additional cash prizes awarded to the annual winners which include Second and Third Place, People's Choice Award, Three Honorable Mentions, and Four Best Medium Awards.

$2,150 in cash prizes awarded monthly winners.

It's $38 for the first entry and $16 for each entry after that. Get an Early Bird Discount if you sign up before the 15th. You can enter as many paintings as you like in as many categories as you like. The more you enter the better your chances of winning!

The Early Bird Discount ends the 15th and 11:59 pm. Enter before then to receive 25% off your entries. Just $29 for your first and $12 for each additional painting. The regular price is $38 for the first painting and $16 for each additional painting.
