2026 NYX Game Awards

Get ready to witness the greatest minds and projects of the international gaming industry that honors creativity, hard work, and value. The NYX Game Awards recognizes and celebrates the contributions of professionals who are passionate about the gaming world.

Categories:
The NYX Game Awards features categories for both AAA and indie game titles across major platforms—including PC, Mobile, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and VR. From immersive single-player narratives to competitive multiplayer experiences, these categories are designed to honor the most outstanding games on every platform.

Eligibility:
The awards program is open to all game developers, marketing/creative agencies, individuals, companies, and organizations/institutions that produce gaming and marketing materials, advertising for internal or external audiences.

Submission Requirement:

Entry Brief:
It is recommended that you keep your synopsis to approximately 350 words. We suggest you utilize this section of your entry to elaborate on the piece, as well as the creativity and originality of your idea. The brief should strengthen your entry, as well as provide the jury a better understanding of your project. A written translation or adaptation must accompany non-English entries.

Console, PC or Mobile Games:
Console, PC or Mobile game entries/apps must be submitted with a direct URL and must be accessible by a mobile phone, Sony PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, Microsoft Xbox, or other device as they will be evaluated on such devices. If your entries require an access code/password to access, you must provide a username and password for adjudication purposes. For mobile game apps, please submit an URL that leads to a demonstration of the application’s features and components, or a direct link for download purposes.

Audio / Video File:
Entries with audio / video must be submitted with a direct URL that will take judges directly to the work:
1. Upload video / audio to Vimeo / YouTube / Youku.
2. Paste the URL link into the URL field.

2026 Entry Deadline & Fees:
Early Bird Deadline: Oct 30 - Nov 26, 2025 ($250)
Regular Deadline: Nov 27, 2025 - Jan 7, 2026 ($270)
Final Deadline: Jan 8 - Feb 11, 2026 ($290)
Final Extension Deadline: Feb 12 - Mar 12, 2026 ($310)

Winning Level:
There are THREE (3) levels of achievement in the competition:

NYX Grand (85-100 points)
NYX Gold (70-84 points)
NYX Silver (50-69 points)

Judging:
Judges are senior-level industry experts, encompassing experienced professionals, and game enthusiasts, across the gaming and creative industries. Judges are selected based on experience, credibility, and availability.

At NYX Game Awards, the distinguished panel of judges is carefully selected from a wide range of game developers, creative and game-related professionals and agencies worldwide, who generously volunteer their time and wisdom to adjudicate, reflecting the awards’ commitment to recognizing and honoring the most exemplary work in the gaming industry. 

Evaluation Criteria: 
To prevent bias/conflict of interest, all entrants’ information are removed from entries. Judging is blind, and the scores are provided on a scale of 1-100, based on the criteria below:

1. Creativity / Concept / Idea
2. Content / Brief / Objective / Planning / Execution
3. Visuals / Design
4. Innovation / Functionality / Effectiveness
5. Overall Impression / Wow Factor / Memorability

The NYX Game Awards and International Awards Associate Inc's decision and ranking is final in its sole discretion and binding relation to all matters relating to competitions and may not be subject to any discussions or correspondence.

Results Announcement:
All winners for 2026 will be announced on May 8, 2026 via NYX Game Awards official page. All registered participants can then login to see the winning works.

Prizes:

•    Game of the Year will receive a Limited-Edition NYX Statuette to be displayed at your establishment as a quality of excellence.
•    Game of the Year – Winner’s Banner to be featured on category page and link to website for 30 days for maximum exposure.
•    Game of the Year will be highlighted on NYX Game Awards Gallery Section located at the Home Page for 30 days to increase public visibility.
•    Winner Interview – All winners will get a chance for an interview to recognize the winning team that contributed to the project.
•    Marketing Tools – A professionally-designed icon, badge, site bug, press release templates, and email signature to celebrate your win.
•    Winners of all winning levels will be featured on the NYX Game Awards Winners Section.
•    Grand Winners, Gold and Silver Winners will be featured by NYX on social media or on Muse.World, our media partner site to maximize exposure.
•    A complimentary professionally-designed certificate to commemorate winning entry submissions that includes entry title, entrant company and/or winner’s name, and award category. A decal will be customized to indicate the winning level.
•    An e-Certificate to commemorate your win, can be downloaded. Details such as Entry Title, Entrant Company and Categories will be displayed on the e-Certificate.
•    Grand Winners, Gold, and Silver winners will be given the choice to purchase limited-edition statuettes and/or additional award certificates while stocks last.
•    A press release template will be available for all winning levels to download and modified to be sent to major industry outlets for marketing and promotions, celebrating your win.
