Viridian Artists Annual HERstory Show

This March, Viridian Artists will hold our 2026 annual HERstory invitational show curated by Vernita Nemec. HERstory is an exhibition dedicated to the experiences, viewpoints, and history of women.

Artists of all genders are invited to submit work that engages with Women’s History Month. Submissions should address this year’s theme: “commemorating and encouraging the study, observance, and celebration of the vital role of women in American history.” Historically, women’s contributions have too often been overlooked, and in recent years, hard-won rights have been rolled back. Artists are encouraged to reflect on these realities, past and present, in the work they submit.

Artwork must be no larger than 30" in any direction. Submissions must be delivered to Viridian Artists Gallery, 548 W28th St. #632 New York, NY 10001 US between March 3rd and March 8th.
