Mallorca Blue Gallery Launches Seascape Art Contest for June 2023

Welcoming all, from traditionalists to AI arists

Traditional art vs AI art? Regardless of which side of the debate one fell on, it is clear that the contest of Mallorca Blue Gallery is an exciting and thought-provoking show. It challenges artists to think outside the box and push the boundaries of what is possible in art.

Mallorca Blue Gallery is excited to announce its Art Contest for June 2023, focused on the theme of Seascape. The contest is open to both professional and non-professional artists aged 18 and above from all over the world.

Artists are invited to submit any style or subject matter they desire, as long as the theme of Seascape is prominent. All 2D visual art mediums, except for video and sound, are permitted. The contest will feature awards in four categories: Handpainted Art, Photography, Digital Art, and AI Art. 

The competition challenges artists to create works using either traditional methods or AI-generated techniques.

While some are skeptical about the inclusion of AI in the artistic process, others saw it as an exciting development that could revolutionize the art world. Some argue that it has the potential to democratize art by making it more accessible to a wider audience.

However, traditionalists argue that there is something special about the human touch in art. They believe that the imperfections and idiosyncrasies of traditional techniques give art a soul that cannot be replicated by machines.

Regardless of which side of the debate one fell on, it is clear that the contest of Mallorca Blue Gallery is an exciting and thought-provoking show. It challenges artists to think outside the box and push the boundaries of what is possible in art.
