Earth Photo 2022 - Call for Entries

Developed in partnership by Forestry England and the Royal Geographical Society (with the Institute of British Geographers), Earth Photo is an international competition and exhibition which rewards photographs and videos that tell stories about our planet, its inhabitants, its beauty, and its fragility. Amateur and professional photographers and filmmakers of all ages are invited to enter via a dedicated online portal. They can submit up to 10 images and/or short films that focus on the key themes of People, Place, Nature, Changing Forests and A Climate of Change.

The entries will be considered by a judging panel made up of experts from the fields of photography, film, geography, and ecology, including distinguished curators, environmentalists, writers and artists, and chaired by Pulitzer Prize-winning photographer, Marissa Roth.

The shortlisted photographers and videographers will show their work in the Earth Photo exhibition at the Royal Geographical Society (with IBG) in London (from 17 June to 26 August 2022) and on a national tour to three Forestry England forests later in the year.

Photographers and videographers are invited to enter online before Tuesday 3 May 2022, 5pm.
