2024 Drawings Competition

Art and Color 365, a bi-monthly digital and print art magazine, announces its 2024 Drawings Art Competition. Artwork by the winners and award recipients in the competition will be featured in our Summer issue. Entries will be accepted through Sunday, June 30, 2024, 11:55 p.m., applicant's local time.
Entry Fee and Rules
The entry fee is $25.00 for up to three pieces of art. (Unlimited entries allowed.) Artists must be 18 years of age or older. Open to artists worldwide.
Still Life Theme: Artists may submit artwork created with any two-dimensional media, i.e. oil, acrylic, watercolor, mixed media, pencil, colored pencil, charcoal, Conté crayon, pen and ink, scratchboard, silverpoint, and pastel. Artwork can be of any still life subject in any artistic style, including realism, impressionism, expressionism, abstract, etc.
All works must be original. “Original” means that the work must be created from the hand of a single artist and not be taken from other artists’ work or materials for which you do not hold the copyright. Artwork subjects and compositions may not be derived from other artists’ artwork or from artwork published in print or online. Copying another artist’s work or digitally drawing on top of another person’s photography or artwork does not qualify as original art. No AI or photo app artwork, please.
We accept artwork that has been exhibited, sold, or displayed or awarded in other art competitions.
Prize Summary:
1st Place cash prize; top three winners receive magazine feature story; Special Merit winners receive individual social media stories and reelsall award winners featured in magazine and online exhibitions
Prizes Details:
1st Place:
- Wins $150 cash award;
- Receives a six-page magazine feature story about the artist showcasing up to eight pieces of their art. Additionally, the feature story will be posted on www.artandcolor365.com;
- Will have their awarded artwork included in exhibitions in Art and Color 365’s magazine (print and digital) and on the magazine’s website;
- Social media promotion in the form of individualized posts, stories and reels;
- Distribution of an individualized press release which will be submitted to top U.S. media outlets and search engines;
- Receives a digital award certificate as well as a letter size award certificate suitable for printing;
- Receives a free digital issue of Art and Color 365 magazine in which their story appears.
2nd Place:
- Receives a four-page magazine feature story about the artist showcasing up to five pieces of their art. Additionally, the feature story will be posted on www.artandcolor365.com.
- Will have their awarded artwork included in exhibitions in Art and Color 365’s magazine (print and digital) and on the magazine’s website;
- Social media promotion in the form of individualized posts, stories and reels
- Distribution of an individualized press release which will be submitted to top U.S. media outlets and search engines;
- Receives a digital award certificate as well as a letter-size award certificate suitable for printing;
- Receives a free digital issue of Art and Color 365 magazine in which their story appears.
3rd Place:
- Receives a two-page magazine feature story about the artist showcasing up to three pieces of their art. Additionally, the feature story will be posted on www.artandcolor365.com.
- Will have their awarded artwork included in exhibitions in Art and Color 365’s magazine (print and digital) and on the magazine’s website;
- Social media promotion in the form of individualized posts, stories and reels
- Distribution of an individualized press release which will be submitted to top U.S. media outlets and search engines;
- Receives a digital award certificate as well as a letter size award certificate suitable for printing;
- Receives a free digital issue of Art and Color 365 magazine in which their story appears.
Special Merit Award Recipients:
- Will have their awarded artwork included in exhibitions in Art and Color 365’s magazine (print and digital) and on the magazine’s website;
- Will have their art featured in an individual showcase in Art and Color 365 social media;
- Receive a digital award certificate as well as a letter size award certificate suitable for printing;
- Receive a 50% discount on a digital issue of Art and Color 365 magazine which includes their artwork
Artistic Recognition, Honorable Mention, and Finalist Award Recipients:
- Will have their awarded artwork included in exhibitions in Art and Color 365’s magazine (print and digital) and on the magazine’s website;
- Will have their artwork included in Art and Color 365 social media;
- Receive a digital award certificate as well as a letter size award certificate suitable for printing;
- Receive a 50% discount on a digital issue of Art and Color 365 magazine which includes their artwork
