Prompt: Modern and contemporary art was deeply influenced by art in Asia, including landscape, calligraphy, abstraction, and minimalism. In tribute to the Bernice Bing exhibition and collection at the Asian Art Museum, we ask video artists and writers: what is contemporary art through a lens of Asian and Asian American art and cultures?

Format: We are presenting video works and literary material. Video submission formats: MP4, 1920 x 1080 or 4K. Maximum run time for video: 5 minutes. Written submission formats: PDF, maximum of 250 words.

Qualifying Artists and Writers: Artists of any age who reside anywhere. Artists in the nine Bay Area counties are encouraged to apply.
