Open Call:  Peripheral Vision

  We are pleased to invite artists from all backgrounds and disciplines to participate in  Peripheral Vision   an online exhibition presented by UNBD. This open call aims to gather diverse perspectives and voices, creating a space where distinct artistic visions can meet and resonate on the digital screen.

Peripheral Vision This open call welcomes works across all media and formats under the theme Peripheral Vision. Drawings, videos, unfinished paintings, process-based works, and experimental practices are all encouraged. We are particularly interested in works that reveal the artist’s position as an observer within rapidly changing environments—through emotion, hesitation, repetition, and quiet persistence. Whether subtle or explicit, each submission should reflect a personal way of seeing and sensing the present moment. We look forward to works that demonstrate how an artist’s distinct perspective and sensibility can generate new images and narratives.

We are especially interested in works that reflect the artist’s role as a witness within rapidly shifting environments—through emotion, hesitation, repetition, and quiet endurance. Whether understated or direct, each work should convey a personal perspective on the present moment. We look forward to seeing how each artist’s unique point of view and sensitivity can shape new visual languages and narratives.
