Call for Chapbook Manuscripts

The A3 Press is looking for new chapbook submissions. Fiction, poetry, art, comics, illustration. All genres welcome. Deadline is 1 August, 2021.

The A3 Press is a place for work that's lyrical and intense, a bit weird, hybrid, experimental. We like work that is urgent, that says something about what it's like to be alive at this point in history. 

Do you have a series of poems or short stories, or a long story that can be spread out over several pages? Maybe a short play in 12 parts or scenes, or even 12 very short plays? Do you have a combination of drawings and short stories? Poems and photographs? Maybe 12 drawings or photographs without text that would fit into our A3 map-fold format?

We publish approximately 2-4 titles every six months, and work closely with our authors and artists throughout the editing process to make sure the design, paper, and packaging are fitting to each title.

Selected titles receive $250 (approx £200) and 10 copies of their chapbook.

The submission fee is $20 (approx £15) per submission. Each submission includes a chapbook of your choice from our current list. Multiple submissions are welcome. All writers and artists welcome.
