Cinedanza 2024

Starting from July 1st you can send your screendance film to the 6th edition of Cinedanza!

An international contest and event that this year is longer than ever: from October to December at Drama Teatro will be organized 4 or 6 evenings with screenings, performances, lectures, meetings...

There are 2 different section you can apply for:

1. The main section includes videodance short films with the following characteristics:

• Maximum duration of 10 minutes
• No thematic restrictions.
• The work must be of recent production, completed after January 1, 2022.
• The film must have subtitles in Italian and/or English (if there is text).
• Videos must be submitted exclusively through the FilmFreeway platform (https://filmfreeway.com/cinedanzafestival).
• High-quality audio and video files are recommended.

2. The second section, "Screendance Dwelling" requires submissions through the FilmFreeway platform with the following characteristics:

• Maximum duration of 3 minutes.
• Filmed and edited only using a smartphone (examples of editing apps: KineMaster, Videap, Quick, ActionDirector, Vita, etc.).
• The dramaturgy of the work must highlight a place, physical or imaginary, considered as "home" "dwelling place" or "refuge."
• The film must have subtitles in Italian and/or English (if there is text).
