British Science Festival- Open Call for Artists

We are now accepting event proposals for the British Science Festival 2026. We are inviting  proposals from artists, writers, performers, collectives, researchers charities, academic institutions, and more. We aim to programme a range creative content that challenges perceptions of what science is and can be. 

The British Science Festival will take place in Southampton from the 16- 20 September 2026, and will be hosted in partnership with University of Southampton.

Each year, thousands of people come together to celebrate the latest developments in science and engage in open discussion about issues affecting our culture and society. The Festival is free and open to all, but content should be appropriate for an adult (16+ audience).
