The Ghostly Commission

To celebrate the launch of the International Ghost Appreciation Society we’re looking to commission a piece of artwork to be unveiled at our launch event, and stashed lovingly forever in our archive.

As an open-minded and international ghost hunting society, we’re not prescriptive about medium or format. We’re open to poems, paintings, sculptures, films, interpretive dances and more.

The goal is to create something interesting, memorable and which can help define the identity of our nascent ghost hunting society.

The selected artist will be paid £100. The piece will be unveiled at our launch event in January 2023, which will take place in Edinburgh. As such, ideas from local artists are particularly encouraged.

We’ll be looking at submissions until the end of the year, when we’ll pick the winner. They’ll then have three weeks to deliver the finished piece – please keep in mind this timeframe when pitching ideas!
