London’s first casual still life drawing workshop on 24th September 2018!

Come to a drawing workshop with a difference - draw a still life composition of grand
botanical plants, fruits, ornaments and beautiful fabric textures, but with the key
difference in the presence of a model - posed with the elements of still life and therefore,
a part of it.

In a casual and relaxing environment, you will be presented with a carefully curated still
life composition as well as materials such as Indian ink and charcoal. For both creatively
curious beginners and artists perfecting their technique, drawing still life uses familiarity
and aesthetically pleasing compositions to create a safe space to explore. Don't worry if
you are new to this or haven't done anything creative in a while! Expect a warm welcome.

This isn’t a tutored art workshop. Let yourself be inspired by the still life and relax whilst
you create. All levels are welcome! Even if you feel you ‘can't draw’ (we hear this often!)
you just might surprise yourself.

This is a casual, drop in workshop - it starts at 6.30pm but arrive when you can!
Materials will be provided including paper and drawing tools, but please do bring your
own in addition if you would like to continue exploring! There are also sketchbooks
available to buy if you would prefer not to use loose leaf paper. This is particularly for
those who plan to come regularly, or who are inspired to continue their sketching after
the class.

Loyalty scheme - every fifth class is free! At any workshop you can pick up a loyalty card
and receive a stamp everytime you come.

Expect soulful music, refreshments, charming ornaments, a variety of plants/textures,
and diverse life drawing models (either clothed or nude), to create an inviting
environment where everything you draw is beautiful.
