Opencall : MONDO NAIL ART

Are you an artist, nail technician, photographer, visual artist, designer or performer?

But above all, you love nail art!

Openbach is launching a call for entries for a group exhibition dedicated to this practice, at the crossroads between fashion, craft and artistic expression.  

We're looking for proposals that explore nail art from an artistic perspective. With this exhibition, we aim to showcase creations that go beyond aesthetics to become art forms in their own right. Volume creations, ultra-detailed paintings, futuristic nail designs, oversized or connected nails: these are all avenues we hope artists will explore.

We invite you to apply! 

Works can include installations, press-ons, performances, sculpture, photography, video or any other form that highlights nail art and its artistic potential.

- Only one work per artist will be presented.

- A paper edition of all selected works will be offered.

- April 9 to April 30, 2025
- Vernissage Wednesday, April 9, 4 pm to 10 pm
- Artistic meeting on Thursday April 17, 2 pm - 7 pm: public presentation of the artists' work
- Dedication of the catalog on Wednesday April 30 from 4pm to 7pm
+ Photo event to be determined
As part of the exhibition, we'd like to organize an event around a performance by one or more artists: you can make your proposals by answering the question on the form (optional).
