The Residency is a luxurious 6,000 sq. ft. Spanish Villa that sits on 3 acres of land. It is located within a small community in the mountains. Surrounding us is the jungle, breathtaking views, and miles of dirt roads and trails to meander, run or hike, and explore.

We offer comfortable and beautiful accommodations, ample work space and serene surroundings so that individual or group projects can flourish.

You will be surrounded by numerous and diverse indigenous flora and fauna. It is common to have toucans, scarlet macaws, monkeys, coatis, and sloths pass through. There is a stream that runs through the lower half of the property.

For the meals provided, we harvest fruits, herbs and veggies from our food forests and greenhouse.

Local tours/adventures are included weekly to Manuel Antonio National Park, Rainmaker, Iguana Chocolate Cacao Farm, the beach and more.

We have created several local community projects that our artists in residence are given the option and to participate in including an Open Air Art Walk Mural Project, Volunteer Program for artists to teach art at our local Elementary school and space in our monthly artesian market "EL Mercadito de Esterillos Oeste" to exhibit and sell your work.
