Red Flamingo - call for exhibition projects

In addition to our well-established residency programmes D’CLINIC is about to launch an alternative exhibition platform Red Flamingo; aiming to provide a home to experimental art practices and ideas within contemporary art.

We are looking for short-term, site-specific, in situ and other projects or exhibition ideas to be realised within our new project space, during the upcoming residency season.

Our only condition for the selected exhibition is that it takes into account the specifics of our exhibition space. We encourage you to think spatially. Paint the walls (red) if you need to; set up an environment, an experience for the audience. (However, our curator can help you with the development of your idea.)

All visual art mediums are welcome: painting, drawing, sculpture, ceramics, printmaking, photography, textile, installation, any mixed media, digital, performance, video, text, participatory art, artistic interventions...

You can apply for a two or four weeks stay, which should provide enough time for you to finish up your project idea.

The residency will end with a public presentation/party of your work.

We also give you the opportunity to be accompanied by your (artist) friend, boyfriend/girlfriend, co-worker, assistant, spouse, sibling … to share the costs and/or work etc.

However, individual applicants will not be rejected, requesting a ‘random collaborator’ is also a possibility.
