Artistic space in the ancient Tuscia (Italy)

International creative artists (emerging, mid-career or established) are invited to participate in an artistic collaboration at a private art studio in Italy. The residence is surrounded by greenery and is located in the ancient Tuscia, an area inhabited since ancient times by the Etruscans, place of great historical charm and tourist attractions between the beautiful city of Orvieto and the Bolsena lake. The accommodation includes the use of space, garden and breakfast. Each round includes the possibility to host two artists simultaneously with their own room and private bathroom for a period of choice of 1 or 2 weeks.
The collaboration may cover the following thematic areas:
1.Human body and psychological introspection on the subject
2.Ancient civilizations and inspiration from places of particular historical and artistic interest of ancient Tuscia
3.Architectural, natural and landscape sceneries of the ancient Tuscia
 
Please note that it is necessary to rent a car for any personal needs and individual movements, (the cost of which can be shared by the two artists present in residence in the same period). Meals are not included. The application and project implementation periods are May, June, July, August and September (to be agreed in advance). Final results will be used to be proposed at Art galleries and exhibition spaces in Italy and abroad, artworks will be also shared and promoted through the artist’s official website: https//www.vincenzocohen.com/

A participation fee of 170 euros per week is required.
