APPLICATION DEADLINE: February 21, 2020 at 11:50 PM

RESIDENCIES: Two-month artist’s residency: April 1 – May 31, 2020

LOCATION: International Studio & Curatorial Program (ISCP), 1040 Metropolitan Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11211

DESCRIPTION: The International Studio & Curatorial Program (ISCP) is pleased to announce an open call for a fully-funded residency, plus stipend ($4,500 per month) for an artist collective working with socio-political ideas. The collective in residence will be commissioned to make new work for a group exhibition on collective practice opening in May 2020, and will participate in ISCP's program for two months with a private studio space and ongoing professional development opportunities.

Applications will be accepted from visual artists in all disciplines based in the United States (and legally eligible to work in the United States) who work collectively and have a track record of exhibitions and other projects with their collective for a minimum of two years prior to the application, and also who would like to engage with ISCP's unique and dynamic programming and creative community. The residency program includes 24-hour access to a private furnished studio space, regular studio visits from Visiting Critics; Field Trips to museums, galleries and other cultural venues; and participation in Artist Talks. Residents become part of a growing network of international artists and curators who are ISCP alumni. An ISCP residency has often led to critical advancement in the practice of the artist and curators in residence.

ELIGIBILITY: Visual artists in all disciplines are invited to apply. Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States, and they may not be ISCP alumni or residents in another studio program at the same time as the NEA Residency.
