Urban Nutcracker Auditions (2nd round)

The renowned Holiday Ballet with an urban twist. The soulful celebration is set on Atlanta’s own Sweet Auburn Avenue in the 1940’s, featuring Reggae Ragdolls, Arabians, Black Russians, the Coca-Cola Pas de Six, along with Mother Spice and her Spice Drops. It is all led by the elegant Brown Sugar and her Chocolatier.

IN-PERSON AUDITIONS: September 17, 2022

AUDITION TIMES: Ages 6 to 11 years - 2:30 to 3:30pm; Ages 12 & up - 3:30 to 4:30pm; Adult Community Dancers - 4:45 to 5:45pm; Professionals - 4:45 to 5:45pm (Please submit headshot, biography & resume to office@ballethnic.org)

Company Auditions

Ballethnic Dance Company is seeking dancers to join its professional company. Dancers must have strong classical ballet technique and Pas de Deux skills and be able to perform diverse movements utilizing elements of Ballet, African, Modern, and Jazz. Strong pointe work is required.

- 36-week contracts available.

- ages 18+

Ballet Dancers: Female and Male www.ballethnic.org

Ballethnic Dance Company is hiring dancers for its 2022/2023 season that begins in mid September. The contracts are 36 weeks with the opportunity to teach in Ballethnic Academy of Dance and choreograph on the Ballethnic Youth Ensemble which is our pre-professional performing group. Housing available on a first come basis in the Ballethnic Artist's Residence which is located on the Ballethnic Campus walking distance from the studios. The first performances take place in October and consists of potential traveling to Toronto, Canada in January. Performances through out the Spring with the potential for additional work weeks throughout the Summer. Dancers must exhibit solid ballet technique and artistry and be enthusiastic about exploring and expanding the ballet genre.

Youth Auditions 2:30 - 4:30pm

Ages: 6-11yrs 2:30-3:30pm
Ages:12 & Up 3:30-4:30pm

Students can also audition for Ballethnic Youth Ensemble - Youth Advanced training/ performance group and the Danseur Development Project - Athletic training for young men.

Adult Auditions 4:45 - 5:45pm

Professional & Community Adult Dancers (18 & Up).
