Archetypes

An archetype has light and shadow. It is a structural force that connects the imagination with reality. Through stories, cultures, archives, and legends, its psycho-mythical nature contains the history of humanity. It represents the collective within the individual, and the individual within the collective. It is the link between the known and the unknown, between the natural, and the distorted. And as every structure of polarity, it has dual potential – to be entrapping, or offer a route to evolution, questioning whether it controls you or you can be in control of it. Being faced, translated, admitted, the archetype can open the mind to liberation – where one resists being overpowered by innate forces and begins to understand them on a mental, intellectual level.

UNMANIFETSED

UNMANIFESTED - A collective Fine Art exhibition, where we dive into the concealed layers of the invisible on the brink of externalization.

A signal, a sigh, a sensation – the subtle impulse of conception before coming into existence, when the unsettled mind of the explorer dares into the mystery of alchemy. To give form to the invisible. To name the unforeseen. To turn the intangible into matter.

Christmas exhibition

When festive times approach, we think of celebration, getting together with close ones, mastering ideas for special gifts, sparkling wine, and long travels.  It is also a time full of creative spark, joy, vision for the future, and a time of compassion, collective spirit, and revision of the experiences shaping that future.

We are celebrating this festive season with a Christmas exhibition at Glena Art, to showcase in a visual metaphor how Art unites us in this sacred time of freedom and trust, making miracles possible, when we inhabit the realm of imagination through our artistic flow.

UNMANIFESTED

Can you describe the unmanifested? In symbols and images, in patterns and sounds? Something that isn't yet, but is there. The seed in the soil. The moist skin behind the curtain. The heartbeat in the chest. The notes before the harmony. The rush of blood in fear. The yearning. The blank page. The inception.

MUSE - Metamorphosis

Metamorphosis - ' after' the 'form'. The caterpillar 'weaves a cloak' of a cacoon to becomes a butterfly. A divine metaphor to remind us that change is imprinted, change is required, and it reveals unseen capabilitities. Fear and thrill, longing and delusion, retreat and awakening,  accompany the turmoil of the senses, exalted by the urge of the individual...or the world to transform.
