The Gallery at Green & Stone announces the call for entries for its highly anticipated Summer Exhibition 2024. This annual event is a celebration of emerging artists and their diverse talents, showcasing a wide range of art in 2D and 3D.

Entering its 6th year, the Green & Stone Summer Exhibition provides artists with the chance to showcase their work in the vibrant Chelsea art scene. Participants have the opportunity to receive generous awards and gain recognition within the art community. With an expanded prize list and increased exhibition space, this year's event is expected to be the most exciting yet.

Call for entries Wells Art Contemporary 2024 Gallery Show

Established in 2012 by artists for artists, Wells Art Contemporary (WAC) is an international opportunity for innovative visual artits working in all genres.

Based in Wells, Somerset, the annual WAC exhibition is a highlight of the city’s cultural life.

Now in its 14th year, the WAC exhibition will take place in August 2024.

Awards: up to £2,000 in cash prizes plus artist residency, further gallery exhibitions, mentoring, art materials, etc, and twenty £200 bursaries to be awarded.

This August, art lovers can experience Wells Cathedral in a whole new light when England’s smallest cathedral city hosts the Wells Art Contemporary 2023 exhibition. This annual showcase of cutting-edge contemporary art from around the world is uniquely installed in one of Europe’s greatest Gothic buildings, putting thought-provoking and sometimes challenging new work in direct dialogue with the Cathedral’s remarkable art, sculpture, and architecture.

Dates: Saturday 5 August to Saturday 2 September 2023.

The 6th John Ruskin Prize Calls for Entries: Seeing the Unseen, Hearing the Unspoken

The 6th John Ruskin Prize is now open for submissions, inviting artists, designers, and makers from around the world to participate.

With a theme of "Seeing the Unseen, Hearing the Unspoken", this renowned art competition offers £8,000 in awards, including a top prize of £3,000.

The deadline for entries is Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at 5pm BST.

Wales Contemporary / Cymru Gyfoes Calling for entries

Developed in 2019 by the Waterfront Gallery with the support of the Welsh Government,
and now in its fourth instalment, Wales Contemporary gives artists the opportunity to show their work in Milford Haven, Wales, and receive prizes totalling £12,000.

The open call invites artists based in the UK and internationally to enter work in 2D or 3D in any subject matter. Accepted mediums include painting, sculpture, drawing, print, ceramic, glass, textile, collage, mixed media, and more.

Shortlisted works will be shown in the Wales Contemporary exhibition, at the Waterfront Gallery, Milford Haven, Wales.
