PhMuseum Days 2026 Photography Festival Open Call

Present your work to exhibit at PhMuseum Days 2026, our International Photography Festival taking place on 1-4 October in Bologna, Italy. For the first time, the festival will happen jointly with Photobook Mania, the 2nd edition of our publishing fair, offering a complete platform to enjoy contemporary photography in person.

PhMuseum 2026 Photography Grant

The 14th edition of the PhMuseum Photography Grant is now welcoming submissions. From today, you can present your projects to the open call that offers €10,000 in cash prizes to support photographers and recognise the importance of visual storytelling. Beyond the monetary prizes, your work will be considered for several opportunities to exhibit, get feedback, and exposure online and in print.

PhMuseum 2025 Women Photographers Grant

The PhMuseum Women Photographers Grant, now in its 9th edition, aims to empower the work and careers of female and non-binary professionals of all ages and from all countries working in diverse areas of photography. Its mission is to support the growth of new generations and promote stories narrated from a female perspective while responding to the need to work for gender equality in the industry.

To participate, you are invited to submit work centred around a specific theme, narrative, or concept. All approaches are welcome, from classic to more experimental projects, and you may present more than one body of work. By applying, you retain full copyright of your images at all times, and we will ask for your permission to share them on our social media channels.

PhMuseum 2025 Photography Award

The PhMuseum Photobook Award is a biennial initiative meant to support photography publishing. Through this 1st edition, a project will be selected to be published by PhMuseum, who will cover production and distribution costs. The book will have a minimum print run of 500 copies, with 50 copies and 5% of royalties destined to the author.

The main partner of this edition is MPB, Europe’s top camera reseller, who will further identify in collaboration with PhMuseum an author for their Special Mention, granting a €800 voucher to spend on used photo and video gear on mpb.com.
