The Studios of Key West: Call for 2025/26 Season Proposals

The Studios of Key West, the premier multidisciplinary arts organization at the Southernmost Point of the continental U.S., invites artists, performers, and educators to submit proposals for exhibitions, performances, and workshops as part of our 2025/26 season. Our mission is to support artists, inspire creativity, and build community.

We’re seeking bold, original ideas that reflect the unique spirit of Key West and resonate with our diverse island community. Whether you're an emerging artist or an established creative voice, we welcome proposals across a wide range of disciplines.

Escape to Key West - Artist Residencies

Escape to the Southernmost Point and let Key West inspire your next work. The Studios of Key West, the premier arts organization in the Florida Keys, invites applications to our monthlong residency program for visual artists, writers, musicians, performers, media artists, and interdisciplinary creatives. We host nearly 40 artists annually, offering time, space, and community to imagine new work and engage with the island’s vibrant culture. The Studios of Key West’s mission is to support artists, inspire creativity, and build community.

The Studios will be starting next season’s programs as early as August, so are encouraging proposals for programs happening late summer & early fall, with high season being Jan-Apr 2025.

Artist Residencies in Key West, FL

We provide residencies to visual artists, writers, composers, musicians, media artists, performers, and interdisciplinary artists. The Studios of Key West’s mission is to support artists, inspire creativity and build community.

A Celebration of Femininity

Womankind is seeking two- and three-dimensional artwork (photography, sculpture, bust, costumes, et al) celebrating the female form and femininity. These interpretive works will be displayed at The Studios of Key West, the premier arts organization in the Florida Keys, throughout the month of October, when women’s health issues are foremost on our minds.

Womankind, a non-profit medical and wellness center in Key West, has organized successful fundraising events each October. Proceeds from these events provide direct health care services to Keys’ women, including many uninsured, on an individualized cost basis.
