The Art of Landscape

The Art of Landscape is a photography exhibition that expands the definition of “landscape” beyond pastoral views and natural vistas. The exhibition invites photographers whose work includes and traverses the realm between the natural and the built, the monumental and the ephemeral. The result is a visual exploration of our relationship to time and place and how humanity is transformed by the environments we inhabit.

The Art of Landscape is an international open call for photographers ages 18 and older. All forms of two-dimensional images, traditional and non-conventional media, and conventional or alternative photographic processes with a subjective analog or digital photographic base are welcome for submission.

Call For Photography: In the Nude

In the Nude is a photography exhibition that strips away pretense to confront the raw, unapologetic beauty of the human body. From the divine proportions of antiquity to the stark vulnerability of contemporary flesh, these works expose the nude not as an object to be idealized, but as a living canvas of desire, defiance, and truth.

In the Nude is an international open call for photographers ages 18 and older. All forms of two-dimensional images, traditional and non-conventional media, and conventional or alternative photographic processes with a subjective analog or digital photographic base are welcome for submission.

Pharmacopeia

Pharmacopeia: noun. What does this term bring to your mind's eye? Do you find yourself assembling an archive of substances, reflecting on memories of addiction, recovery, or relapse? Is your mind a panopticon of disorder, a chaotic realm of fear and loathing from which you yearn to break through? Did you habitually utilize recreational substances in your practice, or were you just intoxicated when you created something?

Lucid — In Dreams

Dreams offer us a glimpse into the realm of the unconscious. Although the images flickering and manifesting behind our eyes may seem bizarre and nonsensical, analysis of one's dreams can reveal their essence. Beneath the surface of our consciousness, the latent content of dreams illustrates the hidden meaning of our thoughts, drives, and desires. We suppress the manifestation of our unconscious to defend ourselves from primitive emotions that are especially difficult to contend with. What is revealed to you as you sleep and perchance to dream? What images make you stop and ask—am I dreaming?

Beauty in Decay

Beauty is subjective in the eye of the viewer. Societal conventions pressure us to conform to like-mindedness, yet the most ethereal craft often originates from divergent work that transgresses tradition. True innovation and creative brilliance often occur when individuals question or break away from established norms. How does your work depict or challenge the concept of beauty?

The Power of Color

Color is the quiet force that guides human life. The power of color is in its ability to function as a sensation and perception, to be a language of itself—yet remain unspoken, and to be both physical and allusive. The Power of Color highlights the photographers’ use of saturation and vibrancy to explore the captured image.
