VAA Artist of the Year of the Awards – You Are Invited!

Welcome to the VAA Artists of the Year Awards. This inclusive competition celebrates creativity and talent at all stages. These awards honour artists' dedication, passion, and unique visions.  The competition features six categories, so whether you are a seasoned artist or an emerging creative, you will have an opportunity to showcase your talents. Excitingly, entry is free for VAA Premium Members (up to 5 works) and is open to non-members and VAA Standard Members for £20. Now in its 3rd year, the awards have been renamed from the VAA Professional Artist Awards, to develop and celebrate a broader range of artists.

VAA International Exhibition & Scholarship Prize Extension

Due to popular demand the prize has been extended for a second phase of application. The Visual Artists Association has introduced an exhibition and scholarship fund of £20,000. Created to support early career artists to develop their arts businesses, The VAA International Exhibition & Scholarship Prize, launched in Summer 2022, aims to benefit emerging and re-emerging artists. This will be achieved by increasing artists’ international exposure, whilst raising funds for VAA artist education programmes.

FREE for VAA Members*

Non-members: £20 for 1-5 entries.

VAA In Person Networking Event - London

This October the VAA is holding an in-person Networking Opportunity in London for artists.

Our networking meet up is open to all artists, both members and non-members of the Visual Artists Association. This will take the form of an hour-long informal catch up. You will have the chance to meet like-minded working artists, see the Art Fair, and form a community with those local to you.
