PRIDE is a curated exhibition of visual art running from June 11 - August 13, 2021 by The Myrna Loy Jailhouse Gallery.  The exhibit is a precursor to Helena’s Pride celebrations held in July.

Ohio Quilt Mural

Based in Canada, Foxquilt is an Insurance technology company focused on empowering small businesses to save on Business Insurance. This Spring, we’ll be launching our services in Ohio - Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati, Akron - to continue innovating insurance so it’s easier, simpler and faster for more small business owners in North America.  We’re looking for a local artist in each of the following cities: Akron, Cleveland, Columbus and Cincinnati to paint a mural of a quilt to showcase their amazing small business community!  The mural should depict a quilt with the logos of local businesses. Each business will be featured in its own patch; together, all the patches help create the quilt!

Rule Breakers: The Art of Invention

Calling all innovators, artists and visionaries! You’re invited to share your experience and positive outcomes from the 2020 pandemic. In celebration of the emergence of invention and as part of the Peckham community, we are looking for three local artists of any discipline to collaborate with goya design on an exhibition and artists in residence programme at our studio in Peckham Levels. Deptford X, in partnership with Lewisham Borough of Culture, The Migration Museum and The Walk are delighted to announce an opportunity for an ambitious commission by a London-based visual artist/artist collaboration with lived experience of migration.

This opportunity is for artists with lived experience of migration who are resident in London. Applications by artists who live in, are connected to, or able to demonstrate connections to, Lewisham will also be prioritised
