NOËL NOIR

Vestige Concept Gallery Presents their winter contemporary exhibition NOËL NOIR.  This show aims to showcase works of art only in black and white from the latest emerging artists.  Works can be from any medium, and should have sales appeal for the holiday season.  The artwork does not have to be representative of any holiday or religion, although it may feature winter imagery, "noir" imagery (ala noir film/photography/mystery/deep contrasts) and/or contain minimalist aspects. If the work has a very small touch of a third or alternate color, this is also acceptable and these works should not be discouraged from applying.

City of Lewisville Public Library- Indoor Public Art Opportunity

Project Description: The City of Lewisville is seeking qualifications from artists who wish to create an indoor work of public art in the Lewisville Public Library. Specifically, the city seeks an artist who can create an installation piece, sculptural in nature, that would wrap around or climb a tall brick column found in the atrium of the library. This work will utilize the height of the column and surrounding space to provide a visually striking component to the library that will inspire wonder, draw the eye upward, and excite engagement.

Request for Qualifications - Fire Station 5 Public Art

This public art opportunity is for an artist or artist team to design, fabricate and install site-specific public art at a new fire station (Fire Station 5) being constructed in the Fountaingrove neighborhood of Santa Rosa, CA. The goal of this completed project is to draw positive attention to Fire Station 5 as a new station replacing the one previously located on Newgate Court that was destroyed by the Tubbs Fire and celebrate the resiliency and rebuilding efforts of the Santa Rosa Fire Department and community. There are various exterior locations for public art at the project site. 2D and 3D materials will be considered. The public artwork should consider the proposed landscaping and hardscape, lighting, and viewer’s perspective.
