The Plunge - Public Art RFQ

The City of El Segundo is accepting applications from qualified mosaic artists for The Plunge Mosaic Tile Mural project. Submissions are due by 5:00 p.m. on March 27, 2025.

Three finalists will be selected to submit proposals. The final artist will be awarded a contract to design, fabricate, and install the mural, which must reflect The Plunge’s history and meet durability requirements for a humid, high-traffic aquatic facility.

Sunny Development Open-call

We invite artists, sculptors, and creators from Bali and other countries to participate in an open call for the creation of a contemporary monument dedicated to the "Investor of Bali" — a collective symbol of individuals who invest their resources in the development of the island. Thanks to these investments, Bali is becoming more international, comfortable, and a true home for "citizens of the world."  

The monument will be installed on the rooftop of one of Bali's top scenic restaurants, known for high foot traffic and popularity among tourists from different countries. It will stand as a symbol of recognition for investors' contributions to the cultural and economic growth of the island.

Fei Arts Club opening exhibition

Fei Arts Club is an upcoming project organised by emerging creatives. All too familiar with the hardships of the London creative sphere, we aim to launch a series of events that focuses on genuine and fun networking encounters. By participating in this open call, you are part of our first event - how exciting!

The exhibition is a one-night pop-up on Friday 25th April at AMP Studios, Old Kent Road. Our only condition is that all submissions must explore the medium of photography. We are ideally looking for finished works, however a brief idea or concept can be submitted as long as the final outcome will be sent to us after the deadline.

The Cicek Artist Prize is an annual program hosted by Cicek Gallery, dedicated to discovering and celebrating emerging artists from all backgrounds. This initiative aims to provide artists with a platform to showcase their talents, gain recognition, and further their creative journeys. By entering the competition, artists have the chance to win significant cash prizes and other opportunities, including exhibitions, mentorship, and promotion through Cicek Gallery.

 

Program Structure

The Cicek Prize features three main awards:

  1. Gold Prize: £5,000 cash prize, a solo exhibition with Cicek Gallery, and one-year mentorship support.

ELIGIBILITY | Emerging and professional artists, performers, musicians, curators, writers and other cultural agents are eligible to apply. The residency program is designed for international artists - or national artists residing abroad - for the development of artistic projects, individual or collective. Zaratan defends a multidisciplinary and experimental attitude, where all the areas and the languages of the artistic expression are considered.
