The juried show Wordplay will feature the work of three selected artists from the jury pool for one group exhibition.  Artists who use words, text, narrative, and other communicative means in their work are invited to apply.

Terri Cohn is a writer, curator, art historian, and fine art consultant.  As a writer, her focus includes reviews, features, editorials, and interviews of artists working across the spectrum of modern and contemporary art forms.  She regularly contributes reviews and interviews to various publications including SFAQ, Art Practical, Public Art Review, Art in America, and caa.reviews.  Her work includes curating exhibitions, writing about art, and career counseling for artists at all career stages.  She is also a fine art appraiser, and has taught core and interdisciplinary art history courses for the San Francisco Art Institute and the University of California, Berkeley's Art and Design Extension program for two decades.

Eligibility: Original work completed within the last two years; paintings, mixed media, sculpture, photography, or original prints..  No video, installation, jewelry, or functional ware.  Only artists 18 years of age or older residing in California are eligible.
