CanCam

CanCam is a Japanese fashion magazine published by Shogakukan. Its name derives from "I Can Campus", because girls who read it are expected to become "campus leaders". The magazine was created for these fashion-conscious consumers, and offers the latest information on fashion, makeup, bags, accessories, etc. The magazine is a popular mote-kei fashion resource to 1st and 2nd year office ladies as well as university students.

In March 2007 Shogakukan launched the sister magazine, AneCan, which is targeted at woman in their mid to late twenties. Model Moe Oshikiri left CanCam to become a regular for the magazine. In August, 2008, it was announced that another of the magazine's popular models, Yuri Ebihara, would be "graduating" from the magazine and moving on to AneCan. Ebihara's last appearance in CanCam was the December 2008 issue. Oshikiri and Ebihara were previously part of the well-known CanCam trio with Yu Yamada.

The international fashion and music magazine from Portugal Volume 2, bi-annual, 256 pages, fully in English.

When Zoot first appeared on newsstands in cities including Lisbon, Porto, London, Paris, New York, LA, Rio and Tokyo in 2005 and 2006 the idea was to make an international fashion and music magazine that said something about where it was from – Portugal – and were it was going to the rest of the world. And to make a magazine that was fun to put together, exiting to read and that would grow and mature as it turned friends into contributors in more and more of the cities where it started to appear.

Three super-fast years on including the release of volume 2 in 2009 with a strong new creative team at the helm we´re still a magazine that is very much the sum of the efforts of its hugely diverse talented, excellent and dedicated contributors and their agencies – and we are very proud to work with them.

Each issue has exclusive fashion features and interviews; plus… 190 pages editorial of fashion, beauty and accessories from all over the world.

For some, photography is intuitive and meditative. Something that feeds a need to create, fills a nullity, breathes life into an idea – when catharsis meets creativity. For others, it’s just about capturing moments, telling stories, seizing beauty and contextualizing the opposite. Curated by Think CONTRA, photographerandmuse.com is a site dedicated to photo editorials. It’s a collaborative and creative platform for inspiration, and a network that connects like-minded artists, exploring various outlets of invention. The muse could be a model, a friend, a landscape, a product, the foam of a wave. The equipment could be the latest in technology, or a film camera as disposable as the memory itself. Of the many possible combination’s, it matters not about the image, or the tools that captured it, but rather the connection between photographer and muse.
