- About -

Graduate of the highly acclaimed Glasgow School of Art, which produced five Turner Prize winners over the last 10 years, four of which have been graduates of the GSA’s celebrated Master of Fine Art programme. I successfully completed a BA(Hons) Fine Art Degree - Painting & Printmaking. My dissertation was on ‘Frieze as a Phenomenon’, looking in particular at the London Frieze Art Fair from the context of current economic trends and preferences. Research was done on the role crowd psychology plays on the gathering of the masses such as the Frieze, which is now a Global institution. Upon graduation I was shortlisted by the Royal Glasgow Institute of Fine Art (RGI), in the ‘New Fine Art Graduates to Watch’ category, and was offered an exhibition and lifelong membership. In 2014 I was fortunate to have been selected to produce a piece of art as a permanent installation for the new NHS £842m Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow, Scotland. A sold-out exhibition in Stockholm, Sweden, was achieved in 2011. All paintings were sold in aid of famine in Somalia, with all proceeds donated to charity. To date, I have lectured and held exhibitions globally, with many of my works in private collections around Europe, UK, South Africa, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and lately with the royal family of The Kingdom of Bahrain. Following relocation to Bahrain two years ago, I now hold private commissions for the Royal Family of The Kingdom of Bahrain. The latest is for ‘Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa’.
