- About -

I am a West Coast poet currently living and creating in France. My first book, the stove is off at home (Spuyten Duyil 2018), is an experimental art and poetry book based on and curated through a community ritual that focused on the identification and exorcism of trauma. I have worked as a freelance writer and editor for over five years, and as an adjunct professor for over three years, teaching and developing curriculum for the following classes: English, English Composition, Poetry, Community Writing Engagement, Literature, and Creative Writing. I have created and facilitated poetry workshops in the Gateway Battered Women's shelter, as well as a children's art workshop at the Abbot Hall Art Gallery in Kendal, UK. I am a co-conspirator with the off.collective, an arts collective based in Denver, CO that focuses on interdisciplinary art performances. I am the founder of Aporetic Commons, a forthcoming online arts platform and bi-annual conference. I have three years of experience working in arts administration, including faculty liaison experience, panel organization, curriculum design, and office management. In addition, I was the editor in chief for two literary publications. My work can be found in many publications, such as Bombay Gin, Tooth n Nail: practical advice from and for the everywoman, SWP Guerilla Lit Mag, & The Birds We Piled Loosely.
