Katty Smith Awarded a Solo Art Exhibition

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is extremely pleased to announce that Katty Smith has been awarded a month-long solo art exhibition on their website. Katty Smith and her award winning female figure sculptures will be featured on the gallery’s front page and in the “Solo Art Series” section of their website.

Katty Smith will also be promoted in 1000+ press releases and throughout the gallery’s social media networks. In addition, her art will be displayed on the gallery’s page, highlighted on their YouTube channel and with an event postcard. At the conclusion of the solo art exhibition her artworks will continue to be available for viewing in the gallery’s archive.

Short Film submissions open for Norwich Film Festival 2018

Want to get your short film seen, win cash and software prizes, and scoop a prestigious trophy?
Make sure you submit your short film to Norwich Film Festival 2018.

Now in it's 8th year, the festival is a British Independent Film Awards (BIFA) Qualifying Short Film Festival and was also chosen by The Metro as one of 'the top UK film festivals you need to know about.' 

Films should be no longer than 25 minutes long and must have been completed after January 2016. 

This year's categories include Best Short Film, Best Animation, Best Documentary, Best Student Film, One Minute Movie and the return of The East Anglian Award. Winners of each category get a £1000 cash prize.


Professional and New Talent illustrators (current students or recent graduates) are invited to submit work in any media or context to the World Illustration Awards into any of the eight categories: Advertising, Books, Children’s Books, Design, Editorial, Experimental, Research or Site Specific.

Each category will be judged by a panel of international experts, drawn from some of the world’s best commissioners of illustration including: WeTransfer, Twitter, Laurence King, Penguin Books, Human After All, VCCP and POWWOW!.

The ViewPoint Gallery 2018 International Photography Competition gives artists the opportunity to exhibit in the vibrant arts community of Halifax, Nova Scotia, home of the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design.

Photography Now 2018

Photography Now is CPW’s annual call for entry to discover the best photography projects in the US and beyond. This call is juried by a different leading curator in the field every year, who culls a meaningful exhibition from the submissions. Curators have included William A. Ewing, James Estrin, Kira Pollack, Natasha Egan, Vince Aletti, Lesley Martin, Charlotte Cotton, Darren Ching, Andy Grundberg and more.

“CityScapes” 2018 Art Exhibition Results Now Posted Online

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is pleased to announce that its December art exhibition, the CityScapes Online Art Exhibition is now posted on their website and can be viewed online.  The theme for this art exhibition is cityscape art and artists were asked to submit their best abstract or representational 2D and 3D cityscape themed art for this competition.

An international online art competition was held in January 2018 which determined the art for this exhibition. The gallery received submissions from 22 different countries and also received entries from 32 different states. Overall, 596 entries were judged for this art competition.
